A Sonnet for a Box of Tissues - a Poem About the Importance of a Tissue Box
The tissue box poetry is flowing ... I just looked at a box of tissues and realized how a tissue box figures in so many situations yet is so under appreciated.
I followed the Shakespearean 14 line sonnet format fairly closely but excuse me if it's not perfect.

What's expected of a box of tissues?
Passed from one to other without complaint
She must be ready for any issues
Drop of dew, a tear, a sniffle, a faint
At an occasion somber, she is there
Aiding grieving folks in their dignity
They appreciate but do not thank her
She's gracious in her magnanimity
On joyous days she provides comfort too
Spilled champagne, wiped up quickly 'fore the toast
The bride looks shocked; I think her blush is true
Onward, the grand affair, let's make the most
A long way to go before emptiness
Then swapped for clone, again to give caress
