Sony Vaio Laptop & Desktop Review

First, so I am adhering to the requests of Sony, I just want to make it perfectly clear that I am not a representative of Sony or any of its subsidies. Nor am I a Sony employee. All logos, and graphics that show the trademarks of Sony are the rights and ownership of Sony.

Okay, hopefully that settles that. I wanted to create this lens to say that I believe personally that Sony lives up to a quality that has yet to be matched in the "PC" world of computer outside of custom built systems. Sony has a great reputation and a long standing history. Hope you enjoy this lens, and certainly hope it helps you in your decision making.

Sony Vaio Latop and Desktop Product Lines

In My Opinion......

In the years I have been a computer consultant and repair technician, I must say that every time I get a Sony to repair, it is usually because something wore out such as the hard drive, or power supply. Being a custom computer integrator (builder) I always prefer to build a computer, over selling a manufacture, however when I see a client that owns a Sony Vaio line, a couple of things come to mind.

Quality & Integrity

Why do I say this, well it is really simple. Most PC owners these days like to spend as little as possible on a computer. That doesn't sound so bad does it? I mean, why would you want a computer to cost more than $500.00 anyways?

This is one level that Sony doesn't stoop to. They stand by quality, and stay as competitive as possible. That is why most Sony customers, return when ready purchase another PC. I know when I build my personal PC, I design them with quality components, with the anticipation, that I will not see that computer for a long time (3-5 years) back in my shop for any hardware repairs. Not really for sure, but I believe Sony is the same way with their Vaio line of notebooks and desktops. They are built sturdy from the outside in.

So, my thoughts on a Sony's Vaio line is this from experience, while you may pay more in the beginning, years from now you will be glad you did, in place of returning that other brand multiple times for warranty repairs.

Have any thoughts on Sony Vaio line products?
