Buzz galore about Sookie Stackhouse abounds. Guess it is because of the new book in the "Southern Vampire Series" and TrueBlood new season! There is usually a new Sookie book by Charlaine Harris at least once a year. Love those series that you can sink you teeth into!

Dead In Dixie is evidently the title of the compilation of the first three Sookie Stackhouse books in the Southern Vampire Series. The chick is obviously Sookie, so who is the dude? Jason, her brother? He has got too much color for a vampire. I you want to make a comment about this cover, you can put it in the Guest Book at the end.

I really enjoy the Southern Vampire series books by Charlaine Harris. They are so very different from the HBO series, True Blood. There is not as much weird sex in the books. The plots of the books do not take the strange turns that the TV series takes, either. Yes, the books are fantasy books, so the plots are "not real", but I think that teens could be allowed to read them. I would feel uncomfortable allowing a teenager to watch the HBO series.
