Sophisticated Bum Marketing

The Bum Marketing Method is a variation of article marketing. It works something like this: write an article about a topic with marketing potential (determined through research), submit it to popular article websites, wait for the search engines to pick them up (usually happens pretty quick- 2-10 days), and then watch money roll in.

Theoretically, your posted article will inherit the search engine ranking of the article websites, which will gives you a great start and good, free exposure. When a potential buyer reads your article some will place an order through your embedded affiliate links.

The Bum Marketing Method has four basic steps:

- Locate a niche market with limited competition
- Find the low competition niche keyword phrases to target in your articles
- Write articles and optimize them based on the target keyword phrase
- Submit your articles to popular article websites

Then repeat!

The key element is finding an unfed market and feeding it what they are hungry for.

Simply put it is free for one reason. When I first launched the extensive 12 week course I was charging a small fee of $7 for each person enrolled to offset my costs of hosting the 12 weeks of lessons, videos, free ebooks you will receive and other files.

Then one day I started to get enrollees but no payment notices. After checking with some of my latest students I found out a well known "Guru" who had enrolled in the course decided to give away the enrollment link to his blog visitors and placed a direct link in one of his list emails to 100's of subscribers!

My sales disappeared and my server traffic skyrocketed! Anyway, after changing my enrollment page location and upgrading my server traffic allowances (I did not remove the free enrollees) I noticed something interesting.
