Lemurian Hermitage

The Abbess in solitude mode visits the Lemurian Hermitage to get in touch with nature.  She spends time in her usual chamber, as she is a regular visitor to the Hermitage, and knows when to shift down a gear from her busy lifestyle.  Music soothes the frayed nerves of traffic noise, flowers from the enchanted Hermitage grounds rejuvenate the senses.  The trees tell her their secrets, and soon all is well again with the world

Portrait of the Abbess playing music is the work of Heather Blakey, Soul Food Originator and Webmistress.  It is featured on magnets, journals, mugs and more.  The nature images are the work of Imogen Crest, Soul Food's resident Hermit.  All images are copyright and remain the property of their creators.

Lemurian Hermitage

Solitude Sanctuary - Spring Musing

Nature provides endless inspiration for the Abbess when she takes solitude for creating art at the Hermitage. Spring has arrived, bringing sunny morning walks by the sea, quiet afternoons reading, time in the Hermitage kitchens cooking, and thoughts of solitude in the garden at the Hermitage. Imogen Crest and the Abbess often turn to gardening for creative contemplation, working with the changes that Spring brings, in the vast grounds of this place of solitude.
