We strive to provide a bridge across the cultural and informational gaps between Asian and Western culture. Sound of Hope Radio is a celebration of the world's people and their hopes, dreams and accomplishments. We believe that how we view ourselves and others determines our future. In this spirit, Sound of Hope Radio celebrates the goodness of all humanity.

During this time of globalization, we at Sound of Hope recognize the tremendous gap between western and eastern cultures. It was to serve this need that we created our weekly English program, "Speaking of Asia", which aims to educate while entertaining our Western audience in an accessible manner.

"Speaking of Asia," offers top stories in Asian affairs, culture, and news, with talk show hosts and guests who are informative, current and entertaining. The show mix includes:

1. Talk show featuring Chinese and Western co-anchors interviewing guest speakers who are Asian experts in their respective fields
2. Headline News with the latest in Asian top stories; as well as In-depth reports such as analyses of China's current economy and environmental concerns over the endangered Yellow River
3. Cultural programming with such features as the best in Asian traditional medicine, music and cooking and a segment on learning to speak Chinese
4. This program is currently broadcast on a number of cities worldwide, such as New York, Washington, D.C. in US and Sydney in Australia.

Mysterious Universe was conceived in late 2005 in order to bring the latest alternative news to listeners around the world. The blog and podcast cover a diverse range of topics from the paranormal and the UFO phenomenon, to cryptozoology and ancient mysteries.

The combination of the show's superb production quality, diverse subject matter and sensible yet open minded approach, has helped create one of the world's most popular alternative podcasts.

In February 2007 the show's creator and host, Benjamin Grundy, quit his day job to host the podcast full time and launch a Premium Membership. It was also at this time that four dedicated fans teamed up with long time contributors Cernovog and Horst Sarubin to bring mysteriousuniverse.org's readers the latest in the world of the paranormal.

With this small yet passionate team of volunteers and contributors, Mysterious Universe is set to expand and deliver dynamite content for years to come.
