This fantastic charity concert was a once in a lifetime event!

So many fantastic musicians joined forces on Saturday 14th of March to help raise funds for the survivors of the Victorian Bushfires and the floods in northern Queensland. There were two concerts, one at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and one at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
Sound Relief soon became a popular topic on Twitter, as people watching at both gigs, listening from all over the world via the Triple J website and Australian pay TV subscribers tuning in on Channel V and Max tweeted about the event.

It was always going to be a bit strange seeing a federal government minister performing on stage, but I'm so glad that Midnight Oil were a part of Sound Relief! They were awesome, and they're such a huge part of Australian music history.
