    I don't know what onion soup with white wine tastes like so yep I will try your recipe. It should go well with plain toast or crusty bread, maybe a bit of butter and fried garlic on the side.

    just boil down a finished joint of beef all day and strain! or alternatively, just use some shop bought beef stock in hot water or bouillon bought from a shop
