Do you listen to the birds sing in the morning?

From the lens South Carolina Song Birds.

I love bird song...and bird calls. If the world was silent and no birds sang, it would be a dismal life indeed.
    Very lovely lens.

Yes! Nothing like a cup of coffee on the porch, the rising sun and the birds singing away : ) Nice Lens!

Yes, indeed! A bush of fat, bearded sparrows, mourning-dove pair and many musicians. Lark Bunting! "Grackles" as we, too, know the blue-headed-blackbirds. Lens-rolling to my "Wallace Stevens"--with a blackbird "call"--about Stevens famous blackbird poem and blackbirds. Hmm, lens-rolling to my G-is-for-Garden, too!

Birds are so beautiful! I love to start my day sipping a cup of coffee and taking a few moments to look out in my backyard at the beautiful birds. It is always so much fun to spot one I don't recognize.

I know I love to hear birds, but honestly, outside of the owl and the quail, I'm not sure I would recognize any bird's call. I love to see cardinals and bluejays, though, for their colors. You've got some wonderful photos on this lens - it was a delight to read!

I love all birds, really. We seem to have a bumper crop of baby robins here in Iowa this year. They're so cute! 5*

The black capped chickadee is very similar to the great tits that we have here in the UK. The most colourful birds currently feeding in our garden are a mother Lesser Spotted Woodpecker and her male baby. Beautiful red markings on the belly and black and white. The male also has red at the back of the head.

    Another lovely lens Lizzie.

I love chickadees. I had an extremely red cardinal building a nest in some vines about my shoulder height and I got to be inches from him every morning for about a week. You found some beautiful pictures of our songbirds.
