The Museum of New Jersey Maritime History was created to provide an educational resource for the public with displays of maritime artifacts. There are exhibits featuring US Life Saving Service documents & memorabilia, a free lending library focused on maritime history, a fantastic rare post-card collection of New Jersey towns, USLSS Stations, lighthouses & other maritime-related fields, plus much more. - Now I know the The Shore very well indeed. A bunch of my friends are from and live in the Philly and South Jersey areas, so we go down to The Shore many weekends when I'm out that way. Besides, the Company I work with is located in Mount Laurel and my best friend lives in Voorhees. I really love it down there, but in all honesty, it doesn't hold a candle to the beaches I grew up going to in Southern California.
