About the Music
Sovereign Grace says that their recordings are a natural outgrowth of the worship that has long characterized their churches. Their passion is to produce songs that exalt God's Word, His works and His worthiness. Also, they don't feel like they can limit God's magnificence to any one style of music. Thus their songs range from rap to rock to hymns. I think that more than anything, their main requirement for good music is that the lyrics honor God.One reason I love Sovereign Grace music so much is that I get to sing it every Sunday morning. So my CD collection holds so much more meaning for me--I've actually worshiped in church to this music. I also find that so many songs have lyrics that lift my spirits when I'm able to recall them in tough times. For example, one of my favorite songs has these lyrics:
There's strong arms embracing me
Ones these eyes of flesh cannot see
And there's an anchor that holds my soul
Through the darkest raging sea
Remembering the truth of who God is through music is so beautiful. And I love the music that Sovereign Grace makes. Read on to hear more for yourself!

One of My Favorite Books
Stop Dating the Church!: Fall in Love with the Family of God (Lifechange Books)
We are a generation of consumers, independent and critical. We attend church, but we don't want to settle down and truly invest ourselves. We're not into commitment - we only want to date the church. Is this what God wants for us?
This Book Changed My Life
I Kissed Dating Goodbye
While most Christians agree to seek purity and save sex for marriage, few have been given a blueprint for how that should affect their view of dating and love. In I Kissed Dating Goodbye, Joshua Harris exposes the "Seven Habits of Highly Defective Dating" and offers a realistic outline of how to have a biblical vision of marriage.
