The Best Space Pictures From The Universe
Ever since the advent of the Hubble space telescope, we have been astounded by the vast wonders of the universe that have been hidden by time and space. The universe is a beautiful place which everyone should get a chance to see! I hope you enjoy seeing the great wonders of the universe.
Included here are NASA space pictures from the human space program, planetary explorations, and of course the deep space images from Hubble, as well as outer space pictures from other sources.
Note that these are real space pictures. There are no animations or artist's renditions here!

How Do You Feel About The Space Program?
Since ancient times people have gazed at the starry sky and wondered what was really up there. Today scientists are learning more and more about our universe and what our place is in it. The space program has given us great insights and technological advances, from the Teflon that covers our pots and pans to new drugs for various diseases to the satellites that allow GPS and cell phone use. However some may argue that the space race is over, and that it is a waste of time and money just for some pretty pictures and national pride. Our efforts should be directed at solving problems here on our home planet. So the question I ask is this:
Thanks For Looking!

- I saw the space mission some decade or so ago where the Hubble lenses were replaced. It has been widely reported that the actual lenses were replaced with vitrual reality computer programs. What is the actual history of the Hubble optics vs the virtual reality claim?
