Speak is a dog. But what a dog! He's a pekingese-poodle mix (commonly referred to as a "peekapoo") born May 5, 2003 who lives in St. Paul, Minn. with his owners Kevin and Abby and his "sister" Mazie. Speak is an accomplished dog model, has earned his canine good citizen certificate and enjoys sunspots, people and attention.

This is Speak's namesake, Speak. He's from a cartoon called The Tick. Speak is the Tick's dog, though Speak is actually a capiberra, the world's largest rodent. He earned the name Speak after talking to the Tick in an impressive English accent. Of course the Tick had just sustained quite a blow to the head. Pictures of Speak
