Romantic Poetry

Hello world. This is my bio. 

I took my training as coach with Coach Training Alliance, a very well respected coaching institution. I currently work with singles to help them attract their ideal relationship, and I also work with couples to create more love and fulfillment in their existing relationships.

This is not something that I have always thought about to do, because there was no such thing as coaching many years ago. But I have always gravitated towards working with people, helping and supporting people in one way or another.

After my divorce in 1992 I joined Parents Without Partners and then evenually voted onto the Board of Directors for Parents Without Partners both for the local chapter and the region. And although I'm no longer a member, I still am in close contact with many of the members from Parents Without Partners.

In 1993 I was offered a position working for Family Law Lawyers as a Paralegal. This position a few years later led to me becoming an Advocate for Single Parents, helping low-income families in the fight to improve themselves and the lives of their children.

Soon I came to realize that though we all have problems at times relating to one another, it seems to be especially true with those we care about the most. So I set out to find ways to help not only myslf, but others learn to relate to each other in more effective ways.

Working as an advocate led me to decide that perphaps couselling would be my best way of helping people so I decided to attend a local College in Hamilton, and take Psychology and Counseling courses. Reading became an obsession, I started reading everything I could get my hands on that talked about why people are the way we are. A very good friend of mine, knowing this lent me a book call "Positive Personality Profiles". (A book I highly recommend by the way).

By 1998 things were really changing for me and I decided to open up a talent agency called The Hamilton Talent Agency. During the next 5 years I was able to help well over 350 people find work in the Film and Television Industry as Extras. Being in the film industry also gave me a lot of down time in which I continued my studys and my reading. I soon found out that it was possible to travel to Atlanta Georgia and study under the guidence of the author of "Positive Personalities" himself and that is exactely what I did. I studied Human Behavioralisim (personalities) and received my certification as a Human Behavioralist from Dr. Robert Rohm, Psychologist, Author, Minister, and owner of Personality Insights Inc.

Towards the end of the fifth year I decided to buy another business from a very good friends of mine, All 4 You Tanning Salon located in downtown Hamilton. I think one of the most enjoyable parts of being involved with the salon was the deep friendships that I was able to form with my clients. This led to my working one on one with some these close friends, helping them to understand many aspects of their personal relationships that they were having concerns with.

In 2004 I finally developed the courage and skills needed to start speaking to different groups throughout Hamilton on the subject of relationships and how to better communicate with others. At the same time started my training with Coach Training Alliance in 2005. Since then I have never been happier and never looked back. The future is bight and I am loving what I do for others. I love to be able to help others set their goals for their life and to be able to be there as they see them through.

I am continuously upgrading my knowledge and training and will be returning to Atlanta soon to complete my advanced level certification in Relationships and Conflict Prevention as well as obtaining my certification with the International Coaching Federation
