Special needs education

Potential pupils at Woodlane High School have neither emotional/behavioural difficulties or significant learning difficulties as their primary special educational need.
Usually their needs are complex and may include medical or nursing needs which restrict their access to the normal curriculum, or they may suffer some degree of visual or sensory impairment, or they may have some physical disability. These needs affect a pupil's learning and socialisation, and can make them socially or emotionally vulnerable.
Placement in a special school might offer the optimum solution.
