And mighty interesting facts they are. We see that the famous, heavy-on-carbohydrate USDA food pyramid has little evidence to support its role in health. Instead, it appears to support the income of the food industry. He presents his own pyramid, based on daily exercise and weight control. Sitting on this base are whole grain foods, vegetable oils, fruits, vagetables, nuts, legumes, fish, poultry, and eggs.

Great topic for a lens. I belong to a gym and my personal trainer says the same thing about boosting metabolism...that small meals throughout the day are the answer. If you starve the body, it will store more fat.
I love your lens' main image...very cute.
Over all, you have good content here, but it feels like you need something more. Perhaps add some pollaroids and some poll modules. Maybe even add a text plexo where visitors can add their metabolism boosting tips.
The only thing that I see that needs fixing is that you need to put a hard return (space) between all of your paragraphs in each module. For some reason it all squished together.
I wish you much luck with your lens and your metabolism.

- Great lens, Gail! Some very informative info. Speeding up or altering your metabolism can really help anyone lose weight. Earlier this year, I started eating healthy chicken sandwiches every day first thing in the morning at around 8:30 AM (I had not eaten breakfast since I was 12, I swear). I also started a low impact workout called Mastermoves - combining Mastermoves with the change in my eating patterns resulted in me dropping from 245 to 215 in just 3 months. I feel a million times better and I am almost back at my 21 year old weight. I feel better than I have in 5 years. Great lens, Gail! Anyone serious about weight loss should pay close attention, because adjusting your metabolism is easy and it really works.
