As you can see the prepaid calling card with the lowest rate is called Libra with a call per minute rate of .06¢ for dialing out to a UK land line number; while it cost 14.9¢ for dialing out to a UK mobile number.

Take a look at the bottom of the list and you'll see Verizon World Traveler with a 6.5¢ per minute rate for UK land lines and 25¢ for dialing out to a UK mobile number. So you're probably wondering which card to choose? The answer is simple; it all depends on how long and often you will be calling.

For example the Libra prepaid calling card from Speedypin has the lowest call per minute rates. However, if you look further into the "more details" you will find that 79¢ is deducted from the card value every week. So if you bought 1 $2 Libra card and just used 20 minutes the first week than 79¢ will automatically be deducted off the remaining value the next week. A little bit of simple math will tell you that you're not going to have much minutes left afterwards.

My advice to get around that 79¢ weekly fee and take advantage of the low call per minute rate is to finish up as much of the entire minutes as much as possible in one sitting. Using the Libra phone card as an example again, $2 will give you 333 minutes at 6¢ for calling a UK land line number. You can buy 5 cards at a time and just use them at your leisure.

If this is all too complicated then I suggest buying a fee free phone card such as the one you see on the second row called SPP Fee Free. It's Speedypin's own brand of prepaid calling cards and they are available for almost every country you are planning to call. And of course each country has different low rates but for this example SPP Fee Free cost 6¢ per minute to a UK land line. Though as you can see it cost 2.5¢ per minute to call a land line in London. Still cheap though.

Speedypin offers a lot of different prepaid phone cards with low international rates for countries all around the world. And they offer a wide variety of cards to choose from which is a mixed blessing since not everyone knows how to choose a calling card properly.

I've bought a lot of prepaid phone cards from many different companies online. Speedypin has some of the most reliable products. However, their cheapest phone cards may not have the best call quality. Though that might not be important to most consumers.
