The Great Latte Debate: Spiced Chai Tea Latte vs Cafe Latte

Spiced Chai Tea or Cafe Latte - Which Do You Prefer?
The debate is on, which is the better hot latte - one made from spiced chai tea or a cafe latte made with a coffee espresso base? Which tastes better? Which smells better? Which leaves you feeling better?
For me, it is cafe latte in the morning, spiced chai tea in the afternoon. Ooh, it is all good! The smooth, aromatic, spiced chai tea beats out the bold, rich, stimulating cafe latte - but only sometimes!
Personally, I think I am suggestible. If I smell the rich aroma of freshly ground coffee, yummy - I am going for a cafe latte. However, when there is a pot of cinnamon, cloves and the other ingredients that give spiced chai tea is flavors, you know I am going to have a Chai. If forced to pick -- I think I will leave the decision to you. That's correct, this page is for you to decide, so what are you waiting for - Spiced Chai Tea or Coffee Latte?

Oooh, difficult question. I do love the taste of chai more than a latte but I have been known to mix chai tea into my coffee (seriously). :)

Depends on the situation and where I am. If near a real espresso stand, then I will get the chai because it is better. But if I am at the local 7-11 type place then the coffee is better than the crud that comes out of the noisy machine. Tho I do mix them sometimes.

- Well it's a different type of taste and drink. A spiced chai tea latte is probably a little sweeter and has that tingle on your tongue because of the chai. A cafe latte is based off coffee beans and is probably more bold and bitter, even with the latte. Personally, I like the spiced chai tea latte more because it has the great antioxidants of tea and natural caffeine.

- Not a huge tea, fan but I enjoy a couple of pots of coffee daily. Cafe Latte is a little fancy for me :) I stick with the Cafe Americano.
