Scientific Research Proves

What's more, recent scientific research, some herbs and spices have the ability to help neutralize harmful substances in the body, taking away their cancer-causing potential. Nutmeg, ginger, cumin, black pepper and coriander, for example, have been shown to help block the effects of aflatoxin, a mold that can cause liver cancer.

Turmeric, Spice or Medicine?

Dr. Oz, and many other modern medical experts, cite Turmeric as one of the best foods for our health. He includes turmeric and cinnamon on his list of daily supplements.
New research claims Turmeric not only reduces inflammation in fat cells, it can help us slim down. Research indicates Cinammon lowers blood sugar and can help prevent diabetes.
Modern science is at last catching up with what the ancients knew about the fruit of the tree as man's meat and the leaf his medicine.

Garlic!

It's worth having to use breath mints. Garlic's most common healing uses are for high cholesterol, heart disease, and high blood pressure.
It has also been thought to prevent certain types of cancer, including stomach and colon cancers. Garlic cloves can be eaten raw or cooked.
Garlic can thin the blood (reduce the ability of blood to clot) in a manner similar to aspirin. This effect may be a problem during or after surgery. Use garlic with caution if you are planning to have surgery or dental work, or if you have a bleeding disorder. A cautious approach is to avoid garlic in your diet or as a supplement for at least 1 week before surgery.
Tell your health care providers about any complimentary and alternative practices you use. Give them a full picture of what you do to manage your health. This will help ensure coordinated and safe care.

- Over here, we put turmeric powder in our food (quite religiously). At first, it was believed that it causes gastric and bla bla, but science proved that it heals cancer as well. And yes, you're correct that turmeric has slimming effect because it increases the body temperature and melts away weak fat cells. Thank you for the wealth of information here. I'm linking this page from my "Turmeric" one, see you around!
