- How sad that the installation didn't happen. Have you thought of offering the installation to a public institution? I would have thought that someone might be happy to have it on show, either that or perhaps a pest control company would pay for it. I wanted an imaginative way of keeping an indoor plant from flopping over but didn't want to use loads of canes etc. I have a metal spider's web with a spider in the centre and a couple of magnetic wasps on the web which is more or less what is holding the plant upright ... the plant is over 6 ft tall. 5* for your spider and fly, I think they're wonderful.
