Spiders are Amazing
I don't know why I started being fascinated with spiders. I guess because there are always some around, and I began to find their webs not only beautiful pieces of art, but to be fascinated with their architectural engineering, their ability to string the webs between impossible distances, their perseverance in protecting and rebuilding their webs, the ingenious idea of catching food this way (where did that idea, where did the design come from?)I started looking for poems about spiders, and writing my own as well. Some are quite intriguing.
If you are a fan of spiders, an Arachnology expert or amateur, an arachnophobe, or just like looking at pictures of spider webs, or learning more about spiders, come over to my spider-web. We can learn together.
Oh, and consider donating if you learn something new and help others. It's what keeps the world turning.
This is the closest I've ever come to a web page or blog, so be patient with me. I have no idea what I am doing.

Great Stuff on Amazon
Spiders, Arachnoids and more. Support our charities by supporting Amazon. Why Not?
Make Sammy Spider happy by allowing him to help others. After all, helping others is the only way to make the world a better place, and to leave your mark on the world (since humans can't build webs, after all...) You can help by coming here to purchase books from Amazon, and half of what goes to Lens goes to our charity. Great idea, huh? Sammy must have thought of that!

Come n' get it!
EVEN MORE Great Stuff on Amazon
OK, I could go on, but for now, fifteen is enough. "NO!" says Sammy, "Eight is enough!"
Eight legs, get it? Hee heee hee! (cough--looking serious again.) So here's some more books that might tell you more about Sammy & his family:
MUCH MORE Great Stuff on Amazon
"Maybe we should have a list for each leg," said Sammy Spider
Well, I thought that was a clever idea. Sammy knows his math, doesn't he? Now we'll see if we can find that many books on spiders--that would be 5 x 8 or ?how many??
Sammy Spider wants to sing for you ...
"I don't like spiders and snakes, and that ain't what it takes, to love me, you fool!"
Oh, come on now, Sammy. Is that the right song? We DO like spiders ... we'll not decide yet about Suzie Snake ... And besides, "ain't" is not a word! More spider books is what you need.
Sammy Spider's Stuff on Amazon
Ever wonder what is in a spider's library?
How many more legs does Sammy Spider have if we made a list for every leg?
more, more, more books about Spiders? Aren't they cute??
They are smart, and brave, and persistent, and very very creative. Yes, they are.
Sammy Spider's last leg
This will do for now, and when you finish reading these, let me know, we'll find more!
Sammy Spider's Photo Album
Sammy's cousins, brothers and sisters, and other relatives.
Every family has it's "Black sheep" ... err...I mean, spider. Some spiders are actually dangerous. How can you tell? By reading about them, and by looking at pictures. There are whole books to help you identify them. Look in Sammy's library, and his photo album too.
