Beautiful lens! If i can offer a suggestion about thawing the spinach, thawing it in a strainer or colander over a bowl (or sink) works well. Break it up as you go along, even squeeze out water with paper towels. ;)

We love spinach and this looks delicious. I used to have a convection oven, now since I cook mostly for 2-3 use a toaster oven a lot for everyday cooking, and resort to the microwave too occasionally...to heat up casseroles and cook baked potatoes. But you are right, convection ovens are great. Can't wait to try this recipe..blessed!

It does sound mighty tasty, even if a little rich, perhaps. I wonder if some substitutions could be made for the butter and the cream cheese...without completely destroying dish.
  • Heather426 Nov 7, 2011 @ 12:42 am | delete
Old Chinese Proverb: To stay fat, shun fat. To lose fat, eat fat. No you cannot substitute and get the same dish! Although Spinach is hard to ruin.

I put together a lens full of other people's recipe lenses (I'm not really much of a cook, so I don't have many favorites of my own), and I'll feature this lens on it. I'm still trying to decide which to make.
