These amulets vary in size, materials they're made of, what symbols they're designed with, value, importance and etc...they will each come from a different Wat (monastery or temple) There are many different Wat's all over Thailand
For an example, Wat Saket is one of the oldest temples in Bangkok, was built by King Rama I in the late 18th century.

In Thailand, there are two major categories of amulets. When you walk through Bangkok, there are markets on the streets where all they sell are amulets.

While some of the Buddhist amulets will have an image of the Buddha, others have an image of a famous or revered monk. Sometimes it will be of a monk who lived hundreds of years ago, who was a teacher of the Dharma and or teacher of meditation.

Some people today who buy an amulet are usually not seeking spiritual insight. Instead, they 're hoping that a particular amulet they purchase will bring them good luck and fortune.

People in high-risk jobs (such as police men/women, firemen/women, construction workers) will often purchase these amulets just to make them feel safer at their jobs.

How much do amulets cost? You can find new amulets in Thailand for only a few dollars each. But you can also find amulets costing tens of thousands of dollars. So, why the discrepancy?

For higher priced amulets, they may be considered ancient, dating back several hundred years. Or, if the image on the amulet is of a famous monk, the cost of the amulet will be higher as well.

If an amulet had been produced and originally sold as a fundraiser for temple construction and if it is a particularly famous temple in Thailand, then the value will go up greatly.
Then there is the history of the wearer. In Thailand, this will have a role in the value of the amulet. If a previous wearer had won the lottery, or been very successful at their business, then that amulet would dramatically increase in value.
