SpoofApp

So you have an iPhone or a 3G iPhone (you lucky dog you!) and you've heard about this application, SpoofApp, that lets you change your Caller ID, record your calls and use a voice changer. You checked the iTunes App Store but couldn't find it. What the heck's going on?

Well, first off, SpoofApp isn't in the iTunes App Store yet. You have to have a jailbroken iPhone to run SpoofApp. Sound complicated? Hardly, thanks to modern technology and some smart, geeky programmers. Jailbreaking your iPhone or 3G iPhone is simple.

Note: Cydia comes installed by default during the process, so you shouldn't need to make sure its also installed!

For Mac Users:

There is a jailbreaking app for Mac OS X called Pwnage 2.0 at:

Pwnage 2.0 is easy to use and the link above should have links to all the files you need to download. It just takes a few moments to jailbreak your iPhone and you just need to make sure to install Cydia during installation!

Now that you have a jailbroken iPhone with Cydia installed onto your iPhone, all you need to do is fire up Cydia and look in the "Toys" section for "SpoofApp".

If you can't find SpoofApp in the Toys section for some reason, use the search feature to find the applications.

Once you've found the app, just tap it and follow the on screen prompts to install the app. It should be very straight forward and you should have SpoofApp in a matter of seconds!

Once SpoofApp 3G is installed, fire it up and go to the setup screen for free minutes or click the buy minutes button at the bottom to get a SpoofCard PIN number to use with SpoofApp. SpoofCard is the underlying provider of the Caller ID spoofing, call recording and voice changer features, so you must have a SpoofCard PIN number to use SpoofApp!
