Spooky Halloween Party Ideas

This idea was sourced from a friend of mine that is hosting a Tim Burton party and I thought it was a great idea worth sharing. Basically, the theme is anything Tim Burton, and that gives you a lot to work with.

The End of the World theme has so many possiblities! There are movies, tv shows and video games to be referenced, and tons of costume ideas to be had. The best part about this theme is it's flexiblity and vast possiblities for costume ideas. If you give your guests some basic guidelines for an end of the world theme they should easily be able to come up with a suitable costume.

The end of the world can mean so many things!

Did Aliens attack?
Was there a massive natural disaster that left the planet flooded?
Did technology get too smart and take over the world making humans their slaves? (cough.. Matrix.. cough)
Are you a fallout survior that finally came out of your shelter to find that the earth has been taken over by mutants?

There is a huge following for the video game Fallout 3 which is based on, you guessed it, a fallout shelter survior making it out in the wastelands! Such danger and adventures could be incorporated into your party.

This is a theme that you can have a lot of fun with. Be creative!

Turn your party into a dark carnival and spook your party guests with carnival games, candy, music, and a creepy clown or two. Guests have a variety of costume ideas for this, such as creepy carnival workers, clowns, and dying carnival patrons!

Try and find some creepy carnival music to play in the entry of the party, and then transition into the dance music in another area. You could even have carnival inspired snacks and treats like cotton candy, popcorn, and carmel apples.
