Graveyard Cake

Graveyard Yum This is a fun and simple way to make Halloween special. All you need to do is bake a 9x13 cake, get some fun candy and such to decorate it, and you are all set for a party or even just a fun surprise for Halloween dinner.

We used:
1. Yellow cake mix
2. Chocolate frosting
3. Peeps ghosts
4. Gummy worms
5. Miliano cookies for tombstones
6. Small gel writing frosting (found in the cake isle at the grocery store)
7. Tiny candy bones
8. Candy corn and candy pumpkins

Other ideas would be to make "dirt" from Oreos by crushing them up, then adding that to the cake. You could use Cool-whip to make ghosts instead of Peeps. There are a lot of options in the Halloween candy isle, just get creative and have fun decorating your graveyard!

What to Watch

The things I like to watch for Halloween!

Topper/Topper Returns

A tale of two ghosts, two very lively ghosts! A movie that was also ahead of it's time effects wise. A must see.

The Ghost And Mr. Chicken

A funny kind of ghost story, or is it?

Amazon Price: $9.99 (as of 10/13/2008)

Perfectly strange and romantic.
