Spore - The Evolution PC Game

Spore starts you out as a tiny little single cell organism pitted up against other tiny single cell organisms.

As you evolve you eventually become a creature in which point you'll move from the ride pool to land (with or without your legs). This is the semi-social stage of the creatures life as it learns to interact with other creatures.

A functioning little critter of your creation can then go on to create tribes. Tribes are organized communities similar to and RTS.

Civilizations come into play next as the tribe must then work to unite the planet through conquering or diplomacy.

Colonizing outer space is next. Are you prepared to take on the galaxy?

As part of the spore game you decide step by step how your creature evolves. By spending "DNA points" and eating other creatures (without getting eaten!), you are able to slowly evolve. By doing this, you can end up with limitless combinations of creatures.

The game adjusts to how strong your creature is by always creating stronger predators and thus creating a challenge. I have heard of
players being able to import
other player's creatures into the game.

Educational! Yes spore is an educational game as well. Players get to view the balance of an eco-system as well as the balance of civilizations.

Spore is not only going to be on the PC but there seems to be a chance for it to be on Nintendo DS and your cellphone!

The DS version seems to begin with nurturing the creature but the end goal is to figure out what problem plagues the planet. This one seems to be set to come out on September 7th as well.







The mobile phone version is the simplest one but still includes great customization with character creation.

It's so much fun! Download it above! I made a cute little critter and then they let you see it in motion. I watched it dance, jump, run around and I even saw what its little babies would look like!

They even let you take pictures of it and save video in the trial version of the creature creator. Now i have a video of my 'zebra bug' dancing with 3 babies.

Yep I bought the game and let me tell you that it's a lot of fun.

The creature creator is endless with its possibilities. At anytime you want you can 'mate' with a member of your species and enter the creature creator to adjust or completely redesign your creature.
