Do You Need A Pair of Sport Earbuds?

If you're like millions of others, you love to listen to music to make your workout pass by quickly. Unfortunately, most of those headphones and earbuds are either uncomfortable and irritating or they simply won't stay in place during vigorous activity. With the right pair of sport earbuds though, these problems can fade away.

Sport earbuds are generally quite affordable. Before you buy, consider a few of the features:

Comfort and Fit
Many sport earbuds will offer soft silicone earbuds which will keep things adequately cushioned, however those that offer multiple sized tips are the ones most likely to provide just the right fit for your ears.

Sound Quality
Certainly having a broader frequency response range will allow you to hear more detail and larger speakers can generally provide better sounds. However, another factor is noise isolation. With noise isolation features, your earbuds will help cancel some of the intruding noise which masks out some of the music you're hoping to hear.

Length of cord
You'll need a cord long enough to reach but not so long that it dangles and bangs around on your body as you move.

Volume adjustment
Do the earbuds offer you an independent means of adjusting volume and is it readily accessible?

Durability
Clearly some materials are more durable/sturdy and will last longer. Beyond this however, consider whether or not your sport earbuds will be sweat and water resistant. If they are, they will certainly stand up to heavy activity much better. You can also check the warranty to see if the company will stand behind their product.

I used XBud Earbuds for the gym! They have awesome bass and block out so much outside sound! Def my favorite earbuds for the price!

I use buds every night - cannot sleep without them. And when I am travelling, I listen to music with ear buds.

Since I don't use them myself I didn't realize there were so many things to consider when purchasing sport earbuds. Thanks for the info.
