I have a favorite website which I have had online now for 9 years that is all about sports. There is no master plan for this website, but as I think of things to add, I add them. There are a number of cool humor pages on the netsports pro site that add to it's content, but really there is very little sports writing or opinion. Rather, netsports is all about getting connected to sports in Colorado and other stuff has been added. This site has so many different roads to take that I cannot really describe them all here. I recently make a new Squidoo Lens about NFL Football Jerseys. My thinking was that this lens could be a gateway for football fans to get jerseys for their favorite NFL Team, no matter which team they rooted for. That is exactly what is there at the NFL Team Jersey Store.

In the recent past I also made another Squidoo Lens about the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies have been doing well this year more than not, and the new team is very exciting to watch. Nothing makes me happier than to see my Rockies doing well, playing exciting baseball and winning often enough to keep everyone in the game. Lots of great hitters on the team this year, and they have good defense as well.

My Sports in my time - Sports Helps give us identity

Everything in the media today is about bad news, and while all this mayhem goes on we are also challenged with new technology stress that never ends either. The new brave high tech and high crime world makes us crazy, and we need our Sports more than ever.

Sports seem to never change. The excitment of a great baseball game or football contest is a constant in our society, and we get our indentity from our sports don't we? I think sports in general are our opiate so to speak. They drive us up, and down, and keep us focused.

Work is work, and high gas prices are probably here to stay. Where do we go to get away from it all? Sports of course! Our love for sports is our outward expression of who we are and what we love. Our society has many great things to offer, but none touch so many people as Sports and that includes movies and entertainment.

In Colorado we love the Colorado Rockies, the Denver Broncos, the Altitude, the Nuggets, The Crush and the Repids just to name some of the top pro teams. Our stress levels are as high as most other areas, but our team awareness and fan participation are just as high or higher than other major metro areas.

Sports give us a special identity! Sports make us feel better and Sports fill our off hours with fun and frolic that nothing else can. We love Sports
and we follow every play.

It is as though we were there playing the game with our sports heros. We get excited when they come through, and disappointed when they do not. Winning is very important to the fan, but a well played game where huge effort was expended will satisfy us even when we don't win.

We wear our team caps, jerseys and watches. We love to watch our baseball team while we eat dinner. Football while we snack and have chili. Sports, sports, sports. It's all American and it's a standard of activity that does not change. While the rest of the world falls apart, our sports games go on.

We love sports don't we? We can rely on it and it is always there for us. Troops in the fields of war keep up on their favorite teams. Always sports ...
