Are you married to an Internet Explorer user?  Perhaps your parents are the problem... Do they refuse to switch to Firefox?

Why won't they use an obviously superior browser?

How can you possibly cope with such destructive behavior?

Don't worry.  You're not the only one going through this difficult trial.

We understand.  There is help.   This is the support group for you!

Support Group?

Surely there is a support group out there.
A place where I can find others dealing with similar issues. A safe haven for people who are haunted with the same relationship challenges...

"Hello, my name is Amy Maxwell and... [awkward silence]... I have a husband who refuses to use Firefox."

It's hard enough knowing that some of my readers don't use Firefox... that they aren't viewing this site as I meant it to be. That the menu on the right looks... odd.

But to have the father of my children... buying a fancy new laptop and refusing to let me load Firefox on it. That hurts down to the very core of my geekness.

It's as if I offered you the most delicious country fried chicken ever eaten along with your choice of tasty sides, and you said, "No, I think I'll have McNuggets." "I'm used to McNuggets. Everybody I know eats them... And besides, I'm too busy to pick my own side dish."

Firefox and Internet Explorer have changed a lot since this lense was created. New browsers like Chrome have come on the scene too.

This is a three year old lense that was written as a joke just to give my husband trouble. Perhaps your time could be better spent leaving angry comments elsewhere.

Get off your high horses whingers.
Firefox is just as pants as IE has ever been. It's so slow, constantly has to update itself with new versions to fix things and renders awful.
I'll never trust it after it lost me business because it had a problem with session variables used in dynamically drawn images like captchas. The bug report for that was dismissed then magically disappeared because it was obviously bad PR.

Firefox is only used by 2 groups of people:
Those that don't know any better
    Those that don't like microsoft.

Microsoft makes money, employs lots of people and does a lot for charity.
Firefox is supported by a bunch of pale faced geeks who think they are better than they actually are.

Hackers constantly attack microsoft because they are the 'big boys'. If firefox ever became no.1 it too would be the subject of hackers.....duh. Choice is good but stop bleating on about FF being better....it's not. it's slightly just different.
