Service - One problem I have noticed when using spyphone software is the dependability of the vendor's website. Due to the large server loads that these programs place on the servers, you need to make sure the vendor has the capability and resources to ensure the servers stay online. In the last six months of using Mobile Spy, not a single time has the server been down.

My #3 PICK is StealthGenie.

StealthGenie has quickly shot up in my spy phone rankings. They've essentially come out of nowhere to become one of the my favorite new companies specializing in cell phone monitoring and tracking. Although StealthGenie is the "new kid" on the block, based on what they've managed to release for both Android & BlackBerry, they have a VERY bright future ahead of them.

The best way to describe StealthGenie, is they are a mix between Flexispy & Mobile Spy. They have all the powerful spy phone features found in Flexispy (including a couple unique only to StealthGenie that make parental monitoring very easy), and their entry level pricing is less than $60 bucks, which is very similar to Mobile Spy.

In summary, what StealthGenie offers is a feature rich spy phone app, priced at a point where it won't break your bank account.

I would have actually rated them higher, possibly in the #2 position, but since their history is a bit limited, and they don't support as many different phone types as both Flexispy & Mobile Spy, I decided to rate them at #3. However, once they support the iPhone and possibly Symbian, and get a bit more history under their belts, they just might overtake the rankings and claim the top spot. So far, I'm very impressed with what I've seen.

Here is a list features found in StealthGenie's apps, that are NOT available by any other spy phone vendor.

1) Triggers & Alerts - This feature is one of the coolest features around. StealthGenie will notify YOU when a certain word is mentioned in a text message, or when the user sends (or receives) email from a specific email address, or when a call is made/received from a specific number. No more having to log into your online account and spend countless hours scanning hundreds of logs looking for a specific number, or words in a text message. If anyone has used monitoring software before, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. If you're buying monitoring software to keep tabs on your kids, this feature alone will most likely influence your decision the most, because you can enter specific words your looking out for such as "skip school" or "party tonight" or "alcohol" "drugs" etc.. an StealthGenie will alert YOU when one of these words is triggered.

2) Customized Interval Reporting - This feature enables you to change the reporting times on the fly. Other apps have will report data collected on the phone in intervals ranging from 15-30 minutes. However, with StealthGenie, you can remotely control how often you want the logs to be reports. This is HUGE if you're tracking your child, or want to follow a live SMS chat they are having. Imagine if you're urgently trying to locate your child, and you had to wait for an update every 15-30 min? Not with StealthGenie. You're able to set your own interval time, which is just something NOT available by the other guys.

Another plus is by being able to adjust the reporting, you can preserve the phone's battery life by slowing down the reporting.

It's hard to argue against buying StealthGenie when you compare it against both Flexispy & Mobile Spy. It offers the most features, at the lowest price. The only situations where I can see choosing the others over StealthGenie are:

1) You need live call monitoring. If you need to listen in on live calls, Flexispy's PRO-X is your only option. Priced at $349 USD, it's not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.

2) You need both PC & mobile monitoring. If you need to monitor both a cell phone & PC, PLUS you are on a limited budget, then Mobile Spy might be a good choice to consider. For less than $100 bucks, you get a fantastic monitoring app with the most important features, and you also get one of the best PC spy software products on the market. This is a great "one-two" punch that some people might feel is just too good to pass up.

3) Worried about stability. As with any new product, there is bound to be some "issues" once a large number of users get their hands on it. It happens to the biggest companies in the world such as Apple or Microsoft, to the small start ups whose mere existence might be riding on a single release. Until you start getting real people subjecting the software to thousands and thousands of various real world scenarios, it's hard to tell what might be uncovered. This is where companies such as Flexispy have a slight edge on StealthGenie (and even Mobile Spy), because they've had more time to flush out (and fix) any bugs users found with their software.

Ultimately its up to you on which monitoring app to purchase. Some people will feel more comfortable going with Flexispy (even at a higher price) because they know Flexispy is the market leader in the spy phone industry and the only one of the three with 24 hour live customer support, whereas others are willing to overlook this and go with a newer product such as StealthGenie in order to get a monitoring & tracking that has a lot more features, at a much lower price. Others may be on a budget, and like how Mobile Spy offers both a solid & dependable monitoring app PLUS one of the best PC spy products on the market, bundled together for less than $100 bucks.

IN SUMMARY, StealthGenie is very close to taking over the crown as the best spy phone software money can buy. They offer great features (plus a few that are not found anywhere else), at a low price. The only "risk" I see at the moment is that they are fairly new to the industry, so they've not yet had a chance to subject their software to thousands of users as both Flexispy and Mobile Spy have. However, it's only a matter of time before they do, so both Flexispy and Mobile Spy better keep their eyes on these guys.

The one product that I DO NOT recommend is Ultimate Bluetooth Mobile Spy Software.

The reason why I'm including Ultimate Bluetooth Mobile Spy Software sold by several companies online, is due to the large number of emails I receive asking what I think of e-Stealth.

e-Stealth has been very active online promoting their Bluetooth Mobile Spy Software. No matter what spy related keyword you enter into a search engine, there always seems to be an e-Stealth ad.

Does it work? Yes. Should you buy it? No.

The reason why I don't recommend you purchase e-Stealth's Ultimate Bluetooth Mobile Spy Software, is due to their ridiculous refund policy. Although they claim their software works as advertised, there could be situations where the software either does not work, or the person who purchased the software finds out their phone (or the target phone) is not compatible.

Now let me ask you a question....

Regardless of how good their product is, do you really want to do business with a company that refuses to refund your money for ANY reason and makes you agree not to file a chargeback (fraudulent chargeback as they say), otherwise you are liable for USD $10,000 in damages.

A SIM Card Reader is a cool little device that enables you to recover & retrieve deleted text messages and call logs from almost every type of SIM cards & Smart card.

To use a SIM Card Reader, all you do is insert the target phone's SIM card into the device, then plug the device into any USB port on your computer, and then you'll have access to recently deleted text messages and call logs.

Keep in mind, this is not as powerful as spy cell phone software. It does not offer continued access to text messages, call logs, and GPS tracking via an online control panel. Nor does it offer call interception and remote monitoring, but it's definitely better than nothing if you don't want to go through the steps to install spy phone software.

My recommendation is that spy phone software should be your first choice, then perhaps this product as your back up if you run into problems installing spy phone software. They both are similarly priced, so you do get better value for the money with spy phone software, but it's all about personal preference. Some people are more comfortable using a product like this, versus trying to figure out how to install software on the target cell phone.
