Spyphone Guy Feedback

From the lens Mobile Spy Reviews | Which Spy Phone Software Is #1? Flexispy, Mobile Spy, or StealthGenie?.

Talk to me! Have you recently purchased one of the spyphone products discussed here? Flexispy? Mobile Spy? or something else? Do you think spying is wrong regardless the reason? Let me know what you think. Thanks!

  • Spyphone_Guy Apr 22, 2010 @ 6:42 am | delete
    Hi Gotta Get Her,

You install the spy software on your target's phone, not on your phone. This means her phone needs to be be on a compatible platform such as Android, Symbian, Windows Mobile, etc.

What type of phone does she have? Or is it the SGH-A877 you referred to?

I am at Dubai UAE, the site of flexispy is blocked. How can I download spy software on my iphone? And in case I download it when I'm out of Dubai....My second question is will spy software on iphone work inside Dubai UAE.
  • Spyphone_Guy Apr 22, 2010 @ 6:36 am | delete
    Hi Daniel,

Depending on the type of phone you have, you can try out another product such as Mobile Spy or MobiStealth. Not sure if their sites are blocked over there.

The HTC Hero uses the Android OS, so you can purchase either MobiStealth or Mobile Spy. Both companies sell spy phone software for the HTC Hero.

    Hi,
You should warn your readers in your review of Ultimate Bluetooth Mobile Spy Software that they claim you can use thier software without ever having access to the target phone. - From the FAQ : "Will I have to install any software on the phone(s) I wish to spy on?
No. This product only needs to be installed on your phone."

I recently purchased a LG Lotus Elite phone and have been unable to put any type of phone spy on it thus far. What would you recommend?
  • Curious Feb 24, 2010 @ 2:26 am | delete
I would like to understand if this would show up ans an entry on the phone bill anywhere. If there is normally no internet usage, even a small fee would stand out. Also, Text message fees cound be noticed. Hoe does it transmit, and is there a fee/record once they are installed?
  • Spyphone_Guy Feb 24, 2010 @ 2:01 pm | delete
If there is no internet usage, then it would definitely be seen by the person. The software uses the data connection to send the call logs, text messages, etc. to a remote server so you can access the account. Although the interval can be adjusted, there will be data traffic passed so the person will notice it if they never use it.

In regards to your text message comment, there is no fee because it uses the data connection to transfer the message.

    Hoe this helps!

Hi--someone is stalking me using this type of technology is there any way that I can block?
  • Spyphone_Guy Feb 24, 2010 @ 2:03 pm | delete
Yes, but it depends on the phone you have. For example, if you have a BlackBerry, you can download a free utility that will detect and remove it. If you have an iPhone, just upgrade to the latest OS. If you tell me the type of phone you have, I can tell you the best way. BTW, the easiest way is to just take your cell to your service center and tell them you want to reinstall the OS. This will wipe it off.

Yes, it will show up on your wireless bill, but the amount will be very minimal. However, if you never use your phone to download content or surf the net, then it will be noticeable.

so do u have to have the target phone for any spyware to work
  • Spyphone_Guy Feb 24, 2010 @ 2:06 pm | delete
Yes, you 100% need access to the target phone in order to install the software. There is not a single spy phone vendor on the market that supports remote installation. If you cannot get access to the target phone, do not buy any type of spy phone software. Even if you read an ad that says you dont need access to the target phone, dont buy it. If you do, you'll just end up losing your $$$$$

Please let me know what software is compatible to these phones.
  • Spyphone_Guy Feb 24, 2010 @ 2:16 pm | delete
    Hi Crystal,

Sorry for the delay in replying.

The Nokia 5800 uses the Symbian OS, so you can purchase anything from Flexispy or Mobile Spy's entry level software, to Flexispy's top the line PRO-X. It really depends on what your budget is, what you want to accomplish, etc. You can get by with spending as little as $50 bucks with Mobile Spy if you dont need remote monitoring and live call interception, but if you do, PROX will set u back $350 bucks, so its important to determine what you really need first, then buy the software that fits your criteria.

    Hope this helps.

Hi I would like to find out how long it takes to install the software onto the target phone once purchased. On some news report I heard it took hours.
  • Spyphone_Guy Feb 24, 2010 @ 2:21 pm | delete
    Hi,

Thats a real tough question to answer. I can do it in a few minutes, but thats because I've installed numerous apps. However, someone who is completely new to this, might end up taking an hour or so. I think if you are new to mobile applications, meaning you've never installed a game or app, then it might take an hour or more because everything is new. If you have experience with installing mobile apps such as a game or iPhone app, then I dont see why it would take more than 20-30 min.

The target phone is a Nokia 7250i that doesn't take .sis files, and my phone, Nokia 6085, cant use the files in their current format, and the target phone isn't vulnerable to the ones it will run.....
I have put Smsinterceptor on his other phone and that seems to work, but now he uses the 7250i the most and I cant !!!

I only want to intercept sms messages. That's it.
    Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear about your ordeal, and I do really feel for you in this issue. I can't say that making this sort of software illigal will really bennefit your case aside from the fact that your ex could have less of a penalty for using it. I think that if a person is that transfixed on spying on you they will get the job done.

no one has addressed the use of these programs by stalkers. being stalked is a horrifying experience to endure and it has taken everything out of me. my narcissistic/psychopath ex husband has been using this sort of technology against me for years. i have moved 5 times and changed cell numbers 10 times. i didn't figure it out until last year when i noticed my cell bill had me connecting to a tower in his home location (60 miles away). when i called the cell company, they told me that another phone had been activated on my account and was placing split second calls (20-30 per month) to my phone. each call overlapped a call that i was making or receiving. i went to the police and the phone went inactive. it was not trackable or pingable. the frustration and stress of this landed me in a mental facility for 10 days. this software should be illegal. there is no protection for the victims of stalkers.

How long until something other than Flexispy is available for Blackberry? I used it and it did fairly well, but the Blackberry crashed. I had gotten tech support quickly prior to the crash, but when I contacted them and asked if the software caused problems like that, I have not heard back. Have you heard any cases of Flexispy corrupting Blackberry's?

    Hello Angel,

The IPHONE has spyphone software coming out very soon. I'm beta testing one right now and its incredible. I cannot disclose much, but its going to be "the app" to beat and the makers have promised it wont cost more than 20 dollars.

    Hello Dorothy,

What type of phone do you have? Knowing this will be the easiest way to determine if your phone could have anything installed. This type of software can be sent via bluetooth. I don't see any reason why your carrier would send an update via bluetooth so watch out.
  • Spyphone_Guy Oct 26, 2007 @ 6:30 pm | delete
    Hello Scottish1980,

Can you tell me what type of Nokia she has? There is a site (http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/spyphone/) that will convert some of the older Nokia phones into a spyphone.

    Good luck!
  • Spyphone_Guy Oct 26, 2007 @ 6:24 pm | delete
    Hello Dave,

Glad you like the lens. The spyphone software suites available are all dependent on the phone you want to install the software on. You need a supported phone model and access to the phone to install the software.

What type of phone do you want to install the software on?

    Hello Noel,

The three above do not support the Nokia 6265i but I did find one guy who is selling software which he claims supports the 6265i. He's selling it for 3.99 GBP. The link is http://www.e-junkie.com/shop/product/24140.php I have not tested it so not sure if it works. Good luck!

What would you suggest doing if you believe your phone has spy software on it? Is it possible for software to be sent via bluetooth disguised as a update from your carrier?

Hi Patrick, There is not a version yet available for the Razor from any vendor that I'm aware of. However if she has a Motorola Z8, which is sort of like a Razor, Neo Call offers a version that will do everything you need. Good luck.
  • Spyphone_Guy Oct 11, 2007 @ 8:53 am | delete
    Hi Jenn,

Flexispy has a version for the Blackberry, but if your target is technical, he/she will be able to locate it, so be careful. I know Mobile Spy and others are soon to release their BlackBerry versions. Last I heard was Oct/Nov. I'll keep you posted.

    Hello Jack,

Yes, someone needs access to your phone in order to download and install the application. This process only takes a couple minutes so it can easily be done while someone is "playing around" with your phone or helping you download a theme and/or ringtone.

Hi Josh. Not sure where you live, but Verizon does offer a variety of phones that enable you to install spyphone software. For example, if you want to buy Mobile Spy or Neo Call, you can pick up the Motorola Q Black, Motorola Q Music, PN-820 Smartphone, Verizon Wireless XV6700, Palm® Treo? 700p, etc

Good article! not sure if I would want to spy on my hubby, but at least I know which one to buy. Mobile Spy sounds a lot better than flexispy, and at least i know how to see if someone is spying on me! thanks.
  • Josh Aug 24, 2007 @ 10:13 am | delete
greetings! great article. now I know which one to buy and which one not to buy. flexisucks should be the name. only problem with your review is that you chose mobile spy as the top, but they dont support symbian yet. i guess that leaves me with neo call. ill check them out. thanks!
