Remember when square dancing was part of our elementary school activities? On a rainy day, we would pile into the cafeteria and a caller was invited to teach us the art of square dancing. I never had so much fun! The great part about it is that the exercise you get is disguised by how much fun you're having. You're losing weight, but you would never know it. And I don't know about you, but even though I was somewhat sore the next day, I didn't care... I wanted to do it all over again the next day.

"Our homeschool group just had a successful Family Square Dance (beginners only) for all ages (school-age & adult) using only this CD and some in-person instructions taken pretty much directly off the CD insert. I played the "facilitator" (Slim does the actual "calling" and the music is fun)by introducing the song, reading some instructions from the insert and occassionally using our mike to voice over "more instructions" when things seemed to bog down - but for the most part we had a great time and couldn't have done it without this very inexpensive CD. Professional callers can be big bucks but if your group is beginner and you just want some good family fun this is your ticket!" :-) ~ A happy cusomer

- I remember square dancing in school... whenever we did the dancing part of gym class, I always looked forward to square dancing the most, I loved it. Great lens :)

- Well ... oh deep subject [no pun intended either ;)] but it surely has been the longest time since I tried square dancing ... you know, I do believe it was 8th grade! Good to see you are revitalizing this dance.
