    This blog post is excellent probably because of how well the subject was developped. I like some of the comments too though I would prefer we all stay on the suject in order add value to the subject! Phil Wane

    I have had small sq. ft gardens, but waiting to get moved into my new home and build a larger garden. I really like the raised bed to the ones that is on the ground.

    I have found that using the square foot gardening method, they are easy move around if needed.

    Nice lens! If you really want to maximize your food production and not spend too much time trying to figure out succession planting and intercropping, I've found an online garden & farm planner to be very helpful from planning everything from my small SFG to a biointensive micro-farm & CSA I started last year.     I am going to try this technique on the window box in my flat. Not sure how it will work out - but it may a good way to make better use of it.

    Thanks for the information. Just decided to do a square foot garden on our patio. Nervous and excited at the same time. Will be starting one for the fall season (CAlif fall) and will blog about my experience.
