Squidoo Angel--Promoting the Squidoo Community

I have written this lens to give you a better idea of how I see my job as a Squidoo Angel. For those of you who don't know, the position of Squidoo Angel is a voluntary one, that is pursued by each volunteer in the manner that they deem best.

For me, I am looking at my Squidoo Angel duties as an opportunity to help the community of Squidoo. If you have read any of my posts on the Squidlog network, you will know that I a huge supporter of the community and helping it grow stronger and better.

As a Squidoo Angel, I am going to use my abilities as an extension of this commitment to the Squidoo community. Angels have the duty to bless excellent lenses, and ding incomplete, bad, or spam lenses as well as to report any lenses that do not belong in the community. I will be looking for lenses to bless as I make my way through Squidoo, but if I come across one that should be dinged, I won't hesitate to do so.

Each Squidoo Angel has been assigned five main categories to patrol. Mine are: About Me, Health and Medicine, Business, Shopping, and Entertainment. But that doesn't mean that we cannot bless lenses in any category. If I come across a deserving lens in another category, I will immediately bless it. If you would like a blessing, feel free to leave a link on this lens, but remember like the picture in this module, there is a light and dark side of Squidoo Angels.
