Squidoo Doesn't Like Your Site
Why would Squidoo consider your links in your lenses SPAM.. Why would they not allow the Search Engines to "Follow" Your links and give YOUR site some credit too...??? According to Google's definition of the "nofollow" attribute - YOU ARE AN ABUSIVE SPAMMER IF YOU USE SQUIDOO
Squidoo Uses The NoFollow Attribute For All Links..
YOU are an ABUSIVE SPAMMER in the eyes of SQUIDOO....
Blurb From That Article:
"when Google sees the attribute (rel="nofollow") on hyperlinks, those links won't get any credit when we rank websites in our search results. This isn't a negative vote for the site where the comment was posted; it's just a way to make sure that spammers get no benefit from abusing public areas like blog comments, trackbacks, and referrer lists."
Does that sound like what YOU as a lensmaster are doing on Squidoo...??? Are you just an ABUSIVE SPAMMER in Squidoo's Eyes? Also, notice the fact that using the rel="nofollow" attribute doesn't give SQUIDOO a negative VOTE... but it says nothing about the LINKED SITE... it only stands to reason that if the site linked has been TAGGED an ABUSIVE SPAMMER'S SITE.. that it would in fact get a negative "VOTE" in Google... (If you have information to the contrary please post it in the comments section below... I couldn't find any.)
This means that no matter how hard you work on a lens, Squidoo makes sure your site gets a big fat ZERO credit in the Search Engines for the work you have done. All you are doing is creating content rich pages for SQUIDOO...
You Should Be Offended...
This offends me a great deal.. in fact it makes me sick. I have created a lot of lenses for Squidoo, (under another username) with a lot of great information, yet my site gets a big fat ZERO credit for my work. In Fact, I may even be hurting my sites PageRank by using Squidoo and linking to my site from my lenses.I also think that this means that Squidoo doesn't trust their "partners" or "lensmasters" at all and they DO NOT want your site to get any credit for anything you do on SQUIDOO.. which is a horrible way to treat a customer, partner, or content provider. Especially since we as lensmasters provide Squidoo with 100% of their content rich pages which gives them a much better PageRank..!!
The Bottom Line Is:
I want to know if this bothers you as a Squidoo user and if you think that Squidoo should allow the Search Engines to follow links in lenses created by trusted lensmasters.....
Should Squidoo Use "NoFollow" In Lens Links?
Should Squidoo Allow LensMasters To Get Credit In The Search Engines By Stopping The Use Of The Abusive Spammer "NoFollow" Attribute?
