Squidoo's simplistic HTML editing features make it really easy to write the novel on squidoo. Though I wouldn't recommend putting the whole book on one lens, separate lenses for each part is surely a very enticing opportunity. You can earn commission from each of the lenses, and even if it isn't much, if you have enough it won't really matter too much. They are also great places to sell merchandise from cafepress as long as its your book's merchandise and of course as ever its a good place to sell your book. You could for instance create a book and publish only certain lenses. Or you could publish the whole thing and offer the book as an option. We here at SquidNovels will guide you on your way to the creation and publishing of lenses and books.

A massive problem for a new author is often pacing themselves. If you don't pace yourself you often run out of steam and begin to veer off into different books. So I have created a challenge, one part per 2 weeks. This is a picaresque style. When I say 25 lenses I usually create 2 chapters per lens.

Create a blog on the site, Blogger or Wordpress. Next create a discussion topic with a link to your blog, after you have done this it is time to bookmark the discussion topic. Now whenever you place a new part of the novel, we will look at your lens. Then we give you feedback. Though I will be able to give better feedback and suggestions on a book lens, any type of lens can be applied to this even if it isn't in a series. When you finish the 25 lens series, I will give you a special image (How cool is that?) for you to display on all your lenses.
