Squidoo Pasta - The national Squidoo Dish!

My usual recipe for home made tomato sauce looks like this:
Get 7-10 Tomatoes and was them. Now remove the other skin of 2-3 Carottes. Put them together in a blender and push: Blend.
Add a bit of salt and olive oil and put it on the the stove. Now play around with a few herbs such as basil or parsle. Heat the whole thing up until a lot of the water is gone and it is a pretty thick sauce, you have to stirr it every once in a while.

Cook your Squid(oo) Pasta.

Place some fresh Mozarella pieces on your plate. I would not recommend adding it to the sauce, as there is usually to much salt and water in the cheese and it takes far better, if you leave it intact.

Once the pasta and sauce are done, add them to the plate and you will have a delicious meal.

Seeing black pasta for the first time can be very intimidating. You wonder what is in there? How does this taste? Uhmmm black food, that looks groce.

The first time we saw this was when we were on a trip in Rome and went into a Pasta store with loads of all natural and homemade Pasta. At that time we decided to pick some other Pasta which was far more colorful, but we always wondered how that pasta would have tasted like, we didn't have the guts to try it out!

A few weeks later when we were at home we saw some squid ink Pasta at a local store and just bought it. We created some nice homemade tomato sauce for it and had a wonderful dinner later thatn evening. Now how did it taste? Actually pretty unspectacular, but the looks are just amazing, it really takes some guts to eat black food, but after the first bite it just tates great.
