Let's have some squid pasta!
For every squidoo lover black pasta has to be the pasta of choice. Real black pasta is usually created with squid ink and tastes, well, like pasta :)
Who does not love some good pasta? This article should be a mandatory read to be able to join squidoo ;) But unless it is, just explore some very interesting dish.

Seeing Squid(oo) Pasta the first time
Seeing black pasta for the first time can be very intimidating. You wonder what is in there? How does this taste? Uhmmm black food, that looks groce.
The first time we saw this was when we were on a trip in Rome and went into a Pasta store with loads of all natural and homemade Pasta. At that time we decided to pick some other Pasta which was far more colorful, but we always wondered how that pasta would have tasted like, we didn't have the guts to try it out!
A few weeks later when we were at home we saw some squid ink Pasta at a local store and just bought it. We created some nice homemade tomato sauce for it and had a wonderful dinner later thatn evening. Now how did it taste? Actually pretty unspectacular, but the looks are just amazing, it really takes some guts to eat black food, but after the first bite it just tates great. You can see some photos of our first Squid(oo) Pasta on this page. It definetly was not the last time we had squid ink pasta.

A cool dish for halloween
Squid Pasta may be the national Dish of Squidoo, but it's a great thing to introduce people to this delicous meal when you prepare some scary food for helloween. Just make sure you have Eyeballs as dessert.

- I've never heard of this pasta, but I bet it goes great with pesto!
I think it should be the official food squidoo lens as long as you put pesto on it! hah! thanks :-)

- It's like pasta, just a bit "fishy". Actually it takes great, but if you think fish should taste like apples, well then it might not be for you ;)
