My Dream of Swimming in the Ocean

Last night I dreamed I was swimming in the ocean but in this ocean there was nothing to fear...no deadly coral or dangerous sharks. The fish were so beautiful, almost every color I could imagine I thought "How could anyone say there is no God when we have all the gorgeous fish in our oceans." Suddenly I looked to my right and saw something swimming that was slightly different from the others. He had tentacles reaching out from this little round orange body and a big blue eye. As I recall from my dream, I had the impression that he was a little more intelligent too. He came up and started talking, asking me how I liked Squidoo. I told him I loved it, that to me it was like a breath of fresh air. Two of my passions are writing and creativity, I told the Squid - Squidoo has given me reason to do what I love every day. The Squid smiled. He said "I hear that often but this is the first time I've heard it in a dream." He complimented some of my lenses and told me a few things he thought I ought to spend more time doing, such as reviewing other lensmaster's lenses and reading more topics on SquidU.

"Do you know Susan52?" the Squid asked? "Oh yes, I told him, she has been a blessing to me on more than one bleak day. The first time I heard Squidoo mentioned, it was by Susan52 ." The Squid turned so that his big blue eye was looking straight into mine, and even in a dream, I thought "what a beautiful blue eye." He asked, "Have you ever told Susan52?" Tropical Fish

This Lens is A Tribute to Susan52

and a few of her Squidoo Accomplishments

"Ah, well I think I have ... I mean I've thought it so many times, surely I've told her." I'd never heard about the Kindle before I heard about it from Susan52. When I said that the Squid turned his back on me and went steadily swimming away. "Wait, wait Mr. Squid - I'd like to talk to you some more," but before I could get the last word out he had disappeared.

Was he reminding me that I had not told Susan52 how much I appreciated her and how very much she has helped me, from introducing me to Squidoo, to helping me get started, to suggesting I join great groups where I would learn more?

I felt ashamed.

When I woke, I wanted to try to close my eyes and get back in the dream but it just didn't happen. I remembered what he asked me though, about Susan52 - and I vowed to remedy that, starting now.

These are a few of Susan52's accomplishments:
Lens of the Day 2 times
Best Tech Lens 2008
Angel Award

Susan52 is fighting a battle with Cancer and its demons Chemotherapy and Radiation. If you haven't checked out her Cancer Warrior lens, I'd strongly recommend it. http://www.squidoo.com/cancer-warrior
