Lenses Created for SquidAid
I have always believed in the Healing Benefits of Altruism, how reaching out a hand to lift someone else up is one of the greatest gifts for the heart.
I am the original SquidAid Responder, having developed the idea of Squidaid to help survivors of disaster following the devestation of the October 2007 California Fires.
This is the collection of the lenses that I have developed which benefit SquidAid by benefitting either the Squidoo Charity Fund, Save the Children or the Humane Society of America, or in some case a combination of all three.
Helping Someone Up is Good for the Heart

for your heart
Than reaching down
and helping
to lift someone up.

Benefits the Squidoo Charity Fund
The Squidoo Charity Fund was created for lensmasters who want to donate their royalties to charity, but can't decide where to send them. The Squidoo powers that be decided fairly quickly following the California Wildfires to donate $1,000 from the Charity Fund directly to the Relief Efforts for the fire victims.
In addition, half of all proceeds generated from lenses made to benefit the Squidoo Charity Fund will be donated directly to the Red Cross California Wildfire Relief Fund for the Months of October and November.
