You say it's your birthday, it's my birthday too...
It seems unfair enough to have to share your birthday (or even just your party) with another person (like your baby brother - YUK!), but what about if you have to share your birthday with a holiday? And a great big snarking one like Halloween to boot?? Oh, the humanity! Well, take comfort that you are not alone in this - this page will show you all the other people who have October 31st as their birthday too.

Cleo Moore
Cleouna Moore was born October 31, 1928 in Baton Rouge, LA, and raised in nearby Galvez, LA. Her parents were deeply involved in Democratic politics. She received much publicity but most of her movies were less than memorable. Nevertheless, she became a "name" with her fairly popular B movies during the era albeit not a major star. She made her film debut in 1948 movie serial "Congo Bill". She had stints as a starlet at Warner Brothers in 1950 and RKO Radio Pictures in 1950-1952 before signing with Columbia Pictures in 1952. She first gained attention as a doomed gun moll in Nicholas Ray's film noir classic "On Dangerous Ground" in 1951. Her best-known films include "One Girl's Confession" (1953), "Women's Prison" (1955), "Hold Back Tomorrow" (1955), "Over-Exposed" (1956) and "Hit and Run" (1957). She often starred in films directed by Hugo Haas and starred opposite John Agar, Richard Crenna, Vince Edwards, and Robert Ryan. During this period Moore was one of several buxom blondes to ride to fame following Marilyn Monroe's major breakthrough. Moore made headlines with several publicity stunts, notably a five minute kiss on live Chicago television in 1954 and her tongue-in-cheek pledge to one day run for Governor of Louisiana, having once been married to the youngest son of Huey Long, Palmer. (Many sources have incorrectly stated that she did run for Governor.)- Quotes From Cleo Moore:
- I've been in so many women's prison movies I should get time off for good behavior.
- I've found that to become a star you must spend a few years being Miss Ping Pong.
- Men are all alike. Their faces are only different so you can tell them apart.

Kinky Friedman
Richard S. "Kinky" Friedman (born October 31, 1944) is an American singer, songwriter, novelist, humorist, politician, and former columnist for Texas Monthly who styles himself in the mold of popular American satirists Will Rogers and Mark Twain. He was one of two independent candidates in the 2006 election for the office of Governor of Texas. Receiving 12.6% of the vote, Friedman placed fourth in the five-party race.Born in Chicago to Jewish parents, Dr. S. Thomas Friedman and Minnie Samet Friedman, Friedman moved with his family to a ranch in central Texas during his childhood. He had a keen interest in both music and chess at an early age. Friedman was chosen when he was 7 to be one of 50 local chess players to challenge U.S. Grand Master Samuel Reshevsky to simultaneous matches in Houston. While Reshevsky won all 50 matches, Friedman was by far the youngest competitor.
Friedman graduated from Austin High School in Austin, TX in 1962 and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1966 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology while participating in the Plan II Honors program. He is also a member of the Tau Delta Phi fraternity. It was during his freshman year at the university that Chinga Chavin gave Friedman the nickname "Kinky," in reference to Friedman's curly hair. Friedman served two years with the Peace Corps on the island of Borneo in Malaysia with John Gross. He has been featured in the news including on "60 Minutes" on CBS and made an appearance as one of Jay Leno's guests. Friedman also founded Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch, the mission of which is to care for stray, abused and aging animals; more than 1,000 dogs have been saved from animal euthanasia.

Halloween Sparklies - Great Birthday Gifts
"Birthday" As Defined By Wikipedia
"Birthday" is the name given to the day that some people in many cultures celebrate the anniversary of the day they were born. It is often marked by a birthday party with family and/or friends when gifts are given to the person celebrating the birthday. It is also customary to treat people specially on their birthday, either generally acceding to their wishes, or subjecting them to a rite of transition. It is thought the large-scale celebration of birthdays in Europe began with the cult of Mithras, which originated in Persia but was spread by soldiers throughout the Roman Empire. Such celebrations were uncommon previously so practices from other contexts such as the Saturnalia were adapted for birthdays. Because many Roman soldiers took to Mithraism, it had a wide distribution and influence throughout the empire until it was supplanted by Christianity.
