What happens when a few lensmasters who love food start chatting? What do you suppose they chat about? You guessed it! And we're doing more than just chatting; we're offering you some great recipe ideas in our blog What's for Squidinner?. Drop by for great meal ideas and cooking tips.

But wait! There's more! You might be a winner! Yes, we know you're already a winner, but your recipe lens could be a winner at the What's for Squidinner Recipe Lens Contest. Read on for details and YOUR CHANCE to win.

The What's for Squidinner Recipe Lens Contest 

This is where you get all those details, so pay attention.

We want to feature your best recipe lenses at What's for Squidinner?, but we need your help. Submit your lenses in the proper category (main dishes, casseroles, soups, desserts, appetizers, or breads), and on September 27, a special surprise judge will choose the best lens in each category. If you have a Main Dish lens to submit, just go to the Plexo on this lens and add it. There's a lens for each category; you can see them below.

Those winning lensmasters and their lenses will get huge feature pages at What's for Squidinner? Great publicity for your lenses. Who knows...there are rumors of a ticker-tape parade and a special guest appearance on Letterman....I'm not confirming nor denying....

So get busy and start making recipe lenses for your favorite foods.

More Rules 

The First Contest begins "officially" At Midnight, September 6, and will end Midnight Sept 27.

Please do not flood each plexo with your own recipes. This is an ongoing contest (we hope), so please only add 1 or 2 of your recipes into each catagory

You may vote for your own recipes, but votes are not the only criterion for judging.

In entering the contest, you agree to have your recipe, and your lens link placed on the "What's for Squidinner" blog.

There will be a winner in each category, and then a main winner out of those. All winners will get their recipe featured on What's for Squidinner" blog and also receive a badge. Category winners will receive a badge and a write up in the Squidinner blog. The grand winner will receive a badge, write up and a 10 oz Apothacary Hot Apple Pie Candle. Voting will be used in PART to determine winner.
