All About Luvmyludwig (Crystal Touchton)
Welcome to my lensography or as I call it my Squid Journal. Join me as I take you through my journey here on Squidoo and in life. I hope to use my lensography as a tool for myself so that I can stay organized and I hope it will be of use to my fans as a one stop shop for my work and a little more information about me, luvmyludwig. My Squid Journal will start out small, but as I work my way up the rankings and toward Giant Squid status, it will reach great heights and will soar as our Squidoo angels do.

What's With The Name?
luvmyludwig

Made with My Cool Signs.Net
I chose my screen name after receiving a gift from my dad. When he bought a new drum set he gave me his old set because I had been wanting to learn how to play. He had been teaching me a little here and a little there when I would visit him. My drum set is a Ludwig. I loved and still do love it so much that I changed my online name to luvmyludwig.
A big thank you to Janusz for making this avatar for me.
Who Is Luvmyludwig And Where Did She Come From?

Simply put, luvmyludwig is me, Crystal, Touchton. I am a 27 year old mother of two beautiful boys. Kenneth is 8. Chrystian is 2. I am married to Ron Touchton, the love of my life. I call Columbus, Georgia my home and I have for the past two years.
I was born in Valdosta, Georgia and lived in Lakeland, Georgia until the summer before 2nd grade when I moved to Anchorage, Alaska with my mom and step dad. We returned to Lakeland for my 5th grade year and I lived there until I got to 10th grade and moved to Arkansas. After I got married to my ex husband, we moved to Lakeland and that's where I stayed until 2 years ago.
I have a love-hate relationship with all the places that I have lived. Lakeland inspired Southern Hospitality, Hey Y'all! . Columbus inspired Dear Busy Lady, Dear Helpful Man after a bad experience.
I have tons of hobbies and interests. They are ever-changing and ever-evolving. Some of them are by choice, others have been dumped ( for lack of a better word) on me. I love the outdoors: camping, fishing, hiking, and shooting. (Not hunting right now though, possibly in the future.) I love reading, writing, computers, playing games, doing crafts, sewing, playing drums (just a little beginner), cooking, bloging...... I love Squidoo. I love social media period.
I could ramble on listing all of my interests, but It would take all day.The best way to learn about my interests and beliefs are to read my lenses, so I invite you to do just that.
Wait just a minute though ,I have a confession to make.......drum role please.....I have a mental health disorder. No really, I do, I have bipolar disorder. Don't worry though, I won't bite, ok, so I won't bite hard. :P If you want to read about my bipolar disorder story, check out Bipolar Disorder And Me - Two Bears and a Lady.
When my sons are a success I, as their mother, am a success. When my sons struggle I, as their mother, struggle. This is not living through them, it is living for them. It's loving them; It's being a mother.
My Family

Kenneth is my first born. He was born 2 weeks before I graduated high school. I created Hearing Aids At Age Six: Leaves make sounds when you step on them? for him about his struggles from birth and about the day he received his hearing aids. It is one of my favorite lenses.
Chrystian is my youngest son. He is a joy to be around. He inspired 9 Camping Activities For Toddlers because of how much fun he had while we were camping.
I met my husband, Ron, when I was 13. We dated until I moved out of state and were apart for 6 years. During this time I had Kenneth, got married, and divorced. We ran into each other again the day of my granny's funeral, only two weeks after my ex husband moved back to Arkansas. I created How do I love him, let me count the ways for him, but it is on my list to redo because although I love him and everything on my lens, I don't like the flow of the lens, nor do I think it tells the whole story. As Paul Harvey would say, stay tuned for the rest of the story.
I come from a huge family. My parents are Shannon and Scott Boan, and Gordon Brogdon and Joan Harris. (Shannon and Gordon being my biological parents.) Both of my parents have been married several times, so I have so many siblings I cannot count them all. I don't say step or adopted, so I'll just list them by name and you can guess the rest. There's Heidi, Amber, Hope, Jewel, Jessica, Leslie, Brandon, Loretta, Dianna, and Grady. No, we didn't all live in the same home, and we were not all in each others lives at the same time. As I said, my parents have both been married several times each.
I have been close to my grandparents my whole life. They have all been like another set of parents. I lost my Papa Ike when I was around two. I lost my Granny Brogdon following a stroke ( it was at her funeral that I reconnected with my now hudband). I lost my Papa when my two year old was just 1 month old to cancer. My mom created a wonderful lens about her memories of him, My Daddy. We lost my granny not too long ago and I created a lens in remembrance of both her and my papa. A Highway Man And A God Fearing Woman
My last living grandparent is my Mama Joy, she teaches Sunday school and goes on mission trips. She is my step dad's mom.
My family is extremely important to me, can't you tell.
Why I joined Squidoo
I used to have a cafepress store that didn't have much success because I couldn't put enough effort into it at that time in my life. A lensmaster featured one of my products, and that was the first time I had ever heard of Squidoo. I didn't poke around, (and for that I'm kicking myself now) so I didn't have too much of a clue about it.
I remembered about Squidoo while my mom and I were discussing the businesses we are trying to get going, so I decided to poke around some and here I am a couple days later completely addicted.
One of my New Year's Resolutions was to do more for me and Squidoo definitely fits in with that because I love to write and I love to use my creativity. I needed something flexible because I pick up and put down many interests and hobbies, I seem to have ADHD of interests. This ADHD of interests, as I call it, stems from my moods created by bipolar disorder.
My First Experience With Squidoo Angels
I discovered what squidoo angels were yesterday and I love the idea of it. I have been in contact with a few and they are so helpful and nice. I have no idea if I have been blessed by them, but I have had a few leave messages on my lenses and that was a wonderful treat.
I love both parts of the Angel powers. The Blessings are just that, blessings, but so are the dings in the sense that without the dings, there would be more spam around here. I hope I continue to meet our Squidoo Angels.
Giant Squid Status
I want that!
Me, me, me, whoo hoo, over here. I wanna be a Giant Squid! I know I'm only a baby right now, but baby squids can dream. I will be a Giant Squid one day because I plan on making quality lenses and honestly I don't know if I can ever stop.
So far I have 51 lenses. There are 13 hours until the Giant Squid deadline and I am working feverishly to make it. Wish me luck!
Have you heard of the Squidoo Giant Squid Program? Do you want to be a Giant Squid? "

My First Lens
January 8, 2009
The first lens I wrote is Southern Hospitality. This turned out to be a very personal lens and I am proud of how it turned out.
I grew up in a small town and I have small town values. I believe it is important to pass my beliefs and way of life on to my children. When I moved to a bigger city, I realized something was drastically different here and that it was going to be difficult for my children to truly understand.

I'm a rocket mom!
I was invited to the second session. I am currently working toward graduating and am a little behind, but will catch up this week. My first Rocketmom's lens was also my 50th lens and it is very special to me. Forever A Teen Mother
