- Wow, 4 years! Well, if it is a that 1 human year is equal to 7 dog years -- what is 1 human year equatable to a giant squid's life? 4 years is really quite a long time and I am thrilled and honored to have been along for the ride for over 3.5 years. Way to go Squidoo. Thanks to Seth, Megan, Corey, Gil, Joshua, Blake, Kimberly et. al. for making this possible.

October 2005 - Seth Godin launches Squidoo and begins the first wave of Beta testing.
February 2006 - Squidoo now has a new landing page, The Top 100, and the ability to transfer lenses to another Lensmaster.
March 2006 - Squidoo has over 20,000 lenses and comes out of Beta testing.
April 2006 - Squidoo gets featured in the New York Times.
May 2006 - Lensmasters start earning $$$. w00t! AND can now Lensroll for the first time.
June 2006 - The "Guestbook" Module is born and Squidoo hits 30,000 lenses.
August 2006 - 5 Citizen Squids start their duties. The first group was Damon, Angela, Travis, Matthew and Kimberly (anyone want to take a wild guess at who they are?)
September 2006 - We've got Groups!
November 2006 - Squidoo hits the BIG 50,000...lenses that is!
March 2007 - 100,000 Lenses? Does anyone know who had that honor?...it was Glen, AKA N376, who snagged Lens #100,000, with 5 Second Cinema.
April 2007- The SquidTeam attends eBay live!
June 2007 -Squidoo offers summer internships
August 2007 - Squidoo welcomes Community Organizer Kimberly Dawn Wells.
September 2007 - The very first round of Giant Squids and the Top 100 Club are announced.
October 2007 - One word...Squidboo
December 2007 - We've got 125,000 lenses and Squidflix, Squidwho, Squidbids, Squidvids, The Ever project.
January 2008 - SquidCasting ROCKS! you heard it here first.
February 2008 - Squidoo launches HeyMonkeyBrain and welcomes Blake!
March 2008 - We get to have fun with Squidaholic, Thanks Fluff!
April 2008 - We've got a brand new wave of Giant Squids and Giant Squid Organizers to boot...BDKZ and rms.
May 2008 - New Dashboard.
June 2008 - More new Giants!
July 2008 - Squidoo gets the super cool and informative Answer Deck,Thanks Kimberly!
August 2008 - We get a brand spankin' new Lensmaster Bio Page and a MagicBuilder to create lenses faster and more efficiently. We also introduce the Giant Squid Greeters!
September 2008 - Squdioo gives away $80,000 in charity and we get even more new Giants!
November 2008 - We get cool red bows on our lenses for the Holiday's!
