SquidClubs are groups on Squidoo that feature super niche topics. Each club has it's own "front-door" headquarters and custom themed lens template that any member of Squidoo can use to build their own webpage about that specific topic. Each lens that is built using a club's lensbuilder will automatically be a part of the club, but will also be included in Squidoo's giant network of pages.
SquidClubs are headed up by ambitious lensmasters who had an idea and submitted it to Squidoo HQ in the first round of applications in March, 2010. The first official SquidClubs were launched in April, 2010 with the exception of the very first real SquidClub, The Cupcake Club, and another early prototype, RocketMoms, which was introduced in 2009.
