Borders and Dividers
I like to use clip art dividers and borders to dress up my lenses. I like them so much that I've accumulated quite a collection! These dividers and borders are derived from public domain sources such as vintage publications, or I've made them myself. Therefore you are free to use them for whatever purpose you wish. Borders and dividers are fun, so dress up your lenses!
Near the bottom of this lens you will see links to two other Borders and Dividers lenses. I split these up because otherwise this page takes too long to load. Be sure to check those out too if you don't find what you need here.
How to use these borders and dividers.
Host your images.
Are you wondering how to use these borders on your lens? I'm going to tell you! First you need to open an account at a place such as Photobucket, Imageshack, Flickr or any place where you can "host" your images. I like to use Photobucket but you can use whichever one you like. It is free to open an account. After you have a place to host your images you are ready to begin. Right click on the image you want and save it to your computer. Name it so you'll be able to find it. Maybe make a new folder just for borders and dividers.
Go to Photobucket (or whichever one you have chosen) and upload the image.
Here is the HTML for use in a text/write module:
<p align="center"><img src="url of image you want to display" /></p>
Copy and paste this into a text/write module and insert the information for your image.
That's it! See? It's not too hard.

- Hello there. I'm taking the Thanks Pal quest and wanted to stop by and thank you for this lens and your work in providing this info. I've used the vintage dividers on one of my lenses and your ideas inspired me to use dividers on several more. I think this really adds to the look to them and is such a classy way to add a bit of sparkle without going overboard. Thanks again.
