Are you addicted to Squidoo so much you may need an Intervention?

Do you think you may need help because you may be addicted to Squidoo? Is there help for us? So many are now trying SQUIDOO - you try it once and you are hooked. I guess it makes us look cool and everyone is doing it. What do we do? Are you an addict?

Read on and find out now - it is all good fun - The Party Animal Style.

What is an Addiction:

addiction is a state in which the body relies on a substance (like Squidoo) for normal functioning and develops physical dependence

Lets look at some of the "Warning Signs" and see if they apply to you

If you have more than 3 of these warning signs - they you just may be a Squidoo Addict. So Are You?

You have more then one Lens
You go on Squidoo everyday
You always are looking at your Squidoo Dashboard
You go on your computer with a hot beverage to only find out it is cold when you go to take another sip
You sit down to pay bills and realize you made a Squidoo Lens instead
You bang out quality pages in less than 1 hour
You made Lens of the Day more than once
You have more than one lens in the top 100
You are on Squidoo and forget you have not gone to the bathroom all day
Your spouse has not seen you in weeks
You see dust bunnies float by your keyboard because you put cleaning off
You cannot walk past your computer without checking on your lens ranks
You are always thinking of ways to get more traffic
You started writing blogs about your lenses
You have read things on Squidoo you would have never thought you would ever read
Your kids are hungry
Time passes by while you are on Squidoo and you all of the sudden you realize the day has passed
Your pet is dancing because it has to go out and pee
You are now smarter because of Squidoo
You brag to your friends on how great Squidoo is and they look at you funny
Other Lensmasters seem like your family now because they understand you
SquidU is your home away from it all
You quit your job and earn a living on Squidoo
You like to see stars and you were not even hit on the head
You know fellow lensmasters by their icons only
You made it to Squid Giant
You look at anything you see and say "Hey I am going to Squidoo that"
Your dinner has become a Recipe Lens

Admitting to yourself you have an Addiction

It is important to ones self to admit they have a problem. If you found that some of those warning signs apply to you - well then RED FLAG - you are a SQUIDOO ADDICT and may need an intervention. The first step is admitting you have a problem. So lets start the process. Below go ahead and add yourself on to the list of Addicts as a way of saying "Hey I have a Squidoo Addiction". Do not worry all of us lensmasters will be there to help each other with our addiction - that is what we do. So go ahead - admit you are addicted - it is ok.

If it makes you feel better, I realized I am an addict and I will start.
