How I make $1,000 a month from One Lens
In early April 2008, I had my first lens break the $1,000 earnings mark in a single month! I've learned some very valuable lessons from that lens (which shall remain nameless, sorry squids and squidettes) and I thought that you might be able to use some of these lessons in your own squidoo lenses.
The Characteristics of a Thousand Dollar Squidoo Lens
The lens I have that's making a thousand dollars a month is actually very similar to a lot of my lenses that I have built. I started using squidoo in May of 2007 and since then I have tried to build lenses where people can find focused information on a very specific topic.
Over time, I've seen a lot of these lenses steadily climb the search engines as google slowly realizes that out of the available 'choices' for a specific topic, my lens has the most 'depth' of content for that specific topic.
While I have now made $1,000 with one lens in a single month, I don't anticipate this being the only lens that earns that much in a short time.
The one thing constant is change. By learning as much about how squidoo works as possible, I've been able to use that knowledge to slowly build up my lenses, making them more and more effective as time goes on.
I know, it's not rocket science or the secret to the pyramids, but it works.

- I believe with continuous effort and focused content, the $1,000/month Squidoo lens is a reality! Those with determination can do it. I have a lot of work to do before it becomes my reality but I am determined to make it happen! Thanks for the useful information!
