Squidoo: Money Made, Time Spent, and More!

I know that payouts can fluctuate wildly from month to month; a rough idea is okay with this one.

People make money on Squidoo in several ways: through Adpool, Infolinks, and Chitika, which are paid out monthly based on the rank of each of your lenses; through money-making modules, such as Amazon, eBay, and iTunes; through directing traffic to sites where they sell their own products, such as artwork and jewelry; and through affiliate sales, such as ClickBank.

To get a more accurate picture, here are some more statistics.

Many people have multiple active times. Vote for another time when you are active on the SquidU forums.

Nothing wrong with having a bunch of WIPs, though you might want to check out the WIP Wipeout in the forums!

Again, some months you publish twenty lenses, and some months you publish zero. Try and pick a number that most accurately reflects your activity on Squidoo.

Honestly, this isn't easy to remember. If you sign up for SquidUtils, which is an awesome tool for all lensmasters, you can see when your first lens was published, and calculate from there.

Once you start to Squidoo, you can't always go back. Include time spent on the forums, creating backlinks, and blogging about your Squidoo work.

Some lenses are short, and some are long. Some take days of information gathering and cataloging, while others pour straight from the heart. Try to come up with an average for this one! And don't include time spent coming back to edit at a later date.
