Squidoo Level Up Guide

Lots of levelling tips PLUS some free activity points.
You gain levels by earning activity points (also called monster points)
Throughout this lens I will show you many different activities that you can perform to earn points to increase your level. I will also give you plenty of opportunities to pick up quite a few activity points on the way. You may even reach a new level while you are reading this lens.
Make a New Lens
Once your lens is published you will gain points whenever another Squidoo member "Likes" your lens.
If you include some social modules in your lens you will also have the opportunity to earn even more points when visitors take part in the activities you have provided.
Lens making is my number one tip!
Having lenses is the only way you can earn activity points while you are away from your computer.

The Poll Module
Taking part in polls is a popular way of leveling up and the owner of the lens will also gain points. It's win-win.
If you see a poll included in a lens do make sure you take a few seconds to answer the question.
Don't forget to add poll modules to your own lenses too.

- I would be at 3, and I've been here for 2 years, but my first lens was back in 2009 - I wrote a lens about something that eventually became something that was no longer allowed after so many people spammed the site. Which was horrible, because I only write when I have something good to say. And then I came back just this week and published a new one for mothers day (highly recommended btw) but my count is at 1 now, the other 2 got booted :(

The Guestbook Module
There are lots of different ways that the Guestbook module can be used. Be creative with it when writing your own lenses.
Every time you leave a comment you will earn activity points and so will the owner of the lens. Win-win again!
The Lens Love Widget ...
This module only appears with actual data when viewed on a live lens. The favorite and lensroll options will appear on a live lens if the viewer is a member of Squidoo and logged in.
Did you "like" my lens?
Trophies
Squid-liking enough lenses, making enough comments and many other activities will earn you trophies. Each trophy that you earn will usually come with a nice activity point bonus.The picture is of the "Comment Ninja" trophy. This is earned for making 100 comments on other peoples lenses.
Have you earned some trophies?
You get a trophy just for joining Squidoo, then another when you create your first lens. Some trophies will come easily and others will take a lot of work.
